The Baccalaureate stage corresponds to the developmental period
\nbetween the ages of 16 and<\/strong> 18.<\/strong>
\nThis is\u00a0post-compulsory education<\/strong>.
\nHere students already choose a course of study according to their personal characteristics and academic preferences.<\/p>\n

In the years of Baccalaureate, the\u00a0tutorial action<\/strong>\u00a0seeks to advance in the shaping of the\u00a0personality and in self-knowledge<\/strong>.
\nThe\u00a0sociability<\/strong>\u00a0of students is enhanced by the opportunities for coexistence offered by the optional subjects and the academic use of new technologies.
\nIn terms of learning, at this time,\u00a0<\/strong>
\ncritical thinking is strengthened<\/strong>\u00a0and a personal style of\u00a0intellectual work<\/strong> is developed.\u00a0All this implies an important progress in the competences of individuals, which prepares them for further studies.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\nIn each of the modalities, each student will develop their own training itinerary through the choice of different subjects that will prepare them adequately for the Final Assessment of the Baccalaureate and for access to subsequent professional or university studies.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0<\/span>language models A<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>(Spanish)\u00a0<\/span>and B<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>(more than 50% of the hours are taught in Basque) are offered.
\nAs a first foreign language, you can choose to study\u00a0<\/span>English or French<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>(provided that it is possible to form groups with a minimum number of students).
\nIn addition, the specific subject of Artistic Drawing will be taught in English.<\/span><\/p>\n

Baccalaureate is organised in common, modality and elective subjects<\/span><\/p>\n

They are\u00a0compulsory<\/strong>\u00a0in any modality and include a characteristic subject of the modality chosen by the student (in Science, Mathematics, and, in Social Sciences and Humanities, Latin or Mathematics applied to Social Sciences).<\/p>\n

Their aim is to provide a specific training<\/strong> linked to the chosen modality that serves as a guide in a field of knowledge and enhances insertion in a specific field of work.<\/p>\n

Students must take a minimum of six subjects of modality in the two years of the Baccalaureate.<\/p>\n

Their mission is to allow the student\u00a0to study in depth subjects<\/strong> of their\u00a0modality or<\/strong>\u00a0to take a subject of another modality, making a mixed baccalaureate<\/strong> with subjects of several modalities.<\/p>\n

In this space, students are encouraged to continue with their training in either a second foreign language or in ICTs.<\/p>\n

Throughout their Baccalaureate studies, students will have access to\u00a0<\/span>individualised guidance<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>to help them make the necessary decisions. The tutor, together with the family, will be aware of any difficulties the student may have so that the most appropriate measures can be taken.
\nThey will have updated information in their digital portfolios.<\/span><\/p>\n

Throughout the stage, the student\u00a0<\/span>will receive all the information<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>that is generated about \u00a0<\/span>access to University<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>and to\u00a0<\/span>Higher Level Training Cycles,<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>through the weekly sessions of\u00a0<\/span>Tutoring<\/span><\/strong>, the sessions of\u00a0<\/span>orientation<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>with the coordinator of Baccalaureate, visits to certain\u00a0<\/span>University Fairs<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>such as those of the UPV or Unitour, visits to the Centre of different Public and Private Universities,\u00a0<\/span>Vocational Training Centres<\/span><\/strong> and personalised interviews with the tutor and the Baccalaureate coordinator.<\/span><\/p>\n
